How neat it was to wake up to a white winter wonderland this morning! I knew that as the day wore on, the snow would melt and the boys would have none to play in when they got home from school. As soon as they woke up, they geared up--jammies and all--to go play in the snow. They only had time to throw a few snowballs and make a few snow angels, but they definately got their snow "fix" for a while.

Today was also Evan's 100th day of school. One of the ways his class celebrated and made it special was all the kids were to dress up like 100-year olds. He thought that was so cool. We sprayed his hair white, used cotton for his bushy eyebrows, dressed him like a little old man, got him a hat and googly eyes. He was so excited and a ham for the camera as usual!
Whitaker also had a special day at school. Today was his Valentines Party. His class ate a special lunch, got to make special valentine bags and were able to pass out their valentines to their friends.

Whew!! It was a busy morning! Even with the busyness, the boys and I really enjoyed the ride to school. Everything around us looked so beautiful. It was definately one of those stop and smell the roses moments. The morning had surely been crazy. We were rushing around trying to dress up like an old man and make sure everyone else was dressed, had snacks and lunches, etc. We thanked the Lord for such a beautiful sight and the way it made us all stop and take a deep breath before we got to our destination.
Man you have adorable little boys. I love Evan in his old man outfit. So cute!
